BUREAUCRACY

In order to get this project off on the right foot, now that it is ready to launch, requires setting up a plethora of accounts. Whether it's Google, Meta, Square Space, or Apple, each company comes with its own bureaucracy that will slow you down. Sending endless amounts of emails to iron out all the little details starts to get frustrating. Certainly the cherry on top was Meta not providing any support contact in order to remove restrictions on the ads account. Hopefully that will be resolved soon, as currently there is no way to know what is happening. Starting to question if the reason most businesses fail in the first few years is due in part to the grinding amount of bureaucracy involved.

In any event the next piece of the puzzle is starting to come together. The biography of Monet is being researched and the paintings are getting selected. Funnily enough getting to work on the art history portion of the project is feeling like a nice change of pace. The aim is to complete Monet by the end of March, though hopefully much sooner than that. The plan for now is to place Monet behind a paywall in order to help continue funding of the project, as well as to gauge the interest.
